In our efforts to improve and promote safety in the food industry, we are pleased to announce that we are exhibiting at the European Robotics Forum 2023 in 'The City of Robotics' - Odense on 14-16 March 2023. Come by for sparring and guidance on how machine guarding enhances safety in the food industry.
We look forward to an exciting dialogue on how we can work together to increase safety when it comes to robots. And not least to see some of the latest advances in robotics. Which of course will be in Odense! Read more and watch the video about Odense's long history with robotics on the ERF website.
ERF2023, the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held from 14-16 March in Odense, Denmark. ERF2023 covers all aspects and current topics related to robotics. Researchers, engineers, executives and a growing number of entrepreneurs, business people and public funding officers from all over Europe will meet to discuss technology push and market uptake, and how to accelerate innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI.
The need for increased safety in the food industry is growing as robots become smarter and move closer to the people who work around them. We are seeing more investment in collaborative robots. Investments that can transform a production! For example, by eliminating monotonous and heavy lifting in MSB risky jobs and freeing up skills for other areas of production. This is the future. But no robotic cell is complete without the necessary safety... machine guarding. Machine guarding for robot cell enclosures protects workers from accidents and the robot from collisions or impacts that can bring production to a halt.
Optimise safety with machine guarding from NTF-Aalborg
Shielding does not have to be an afterthought when the production line is finished. Developing new machine guarding can be a long and expensive process. A massive task that is often left to the end or not included in the budget and can tie up an entire engineering department for weeks. This delays delivery and adds extra costs. Designing everything from scratch with a manufacturer is often a manual process with a lot of back and forth. Added to this is the need to comply with current regulations and ISO standards.
We make it easy for you to design and order your next screening, so you can spend your time designing the production line. We have developed a modular stainless steel machine guarding system and added the unique service; to provide our 100% free drawing software Fence Creator and a corresponding STEP file of your project. By choosing machine guarding from NTF, you get a well-documented standardized solution built on more than 25 years of experience working with stainless steel. Comp-Line is available as both AISI 304 and AISI 316, 1st grade pickled and meets the requirements of DS/EN ISO 13857-2019 Machine Safety.
NTF-Aalborg's machine guarding is based on standard modules. Combine the modules in thousands of different combinations and get the possibility to customize them to the size you need. You also have the option to use only standard lengths. Learn more about safety in the food industry at the show or contact us to start the dialogue right away.
